Privacy overview

AnyPane is developed by Aime Tech Media Limited. This pre-release overview describes the current implementation, not a completed App Store privacy declaration.

Data on your device

AnyPane saves connection settings, workspace layouts and SSH host-trust records locally. These settings can include server addresses and usernames. Passwords, private keys and passphrases are stored separately in the system Keychain, not ordinary configuration files. The app disables Keychain synchronization for these items. Access protection is provided by the system Keychain and varies with platform and device settings.

Connections you initiate

AnyPane sends authentication and session traffic to servers you configure, including any jump host or tunnel target. Those servers and their operators may process or log your activity under their own policies. SSH encrypts its transport; direct VNC does not provide encrypted transport in AnyPane. Use VNC over SSH where possible.

Developer collection

The current app implementation has no developer-operated account service, advertising SDK or analytics integration. It does not automatically upload your connection configurations, credentials or session contents to us. Platform services and servers you choose may process data independently. Release builds and dependencies still require a final privacy review.

Apple services and diagnostics

Apple may process App Store transactions and platform diagnostics under its own policies and your device settings. If you opt to share diagnostics with developers through Apple, crash or diagnostic reports may be made available to us. This is separate from an app-integrated analytics service. The shipping build and App Store privacy answers must account for the final configuration.

Support messages

If you choose to contact support, your email address and the contents you send will be processed by the support mailbox provider and publisher to handle your request. Do not send credentials or unredacted session data. The planned address is support@anypane.app; mailbox readiness is unverified. The operational retention and deletion process must be confirmed before support launches.

This website

These static pages contain no analytics scripts, tracking pixels, forms, external fonts or application cookies. When the site is hosted, the hosting provider may process IP addresses and request metadata to serve and protect it. Cloudflare is the planned host; its final logging and retention settings have not yet been verified.

Your controls

You can remove connection configurations and credentials within the app. Removing a pane only changes the workspace view; it does not delete a saved connection or disconnect a session. Deleting local settings does not remove logs held by a remote server or messages already sent to support. Do not rely on uninstalling the app alone to erase Keychain entries.

Before public release

This overview will be reviewed against the shipping build, hosting and support operations before launch. Final App Store privacy answers, support retention practices and applicable legal disclosures remain release prerequisites.
